This week's Thursday Movie Picks is Non-English Language Movies

Blind Date (2015)
I haven't seen many non-English movies the past year, so I'm simply picking the recent ones I saw.
Mirage (2018)
During a storm, a woman, through an old TV and video camera, is able to communicate with a boy who lived in her house 25 years ago during a similar storm and this changes the course of his life and hers as well. I saw this because it's by the same writer/director of Invisible Guest which I like. And I like this one too. It reminds me of Frequency and it was fun trying to see how all the characters are connected and how things got altered when she changed the past. I imagine this would likely get a remake.

Boy Missing (2016)
When her son's suspected kidnapper gets released due to insufficient evidence, a lawyer takes matters into her own hands leading to a disastrous chain of events. Enjoyed this one as well which is also by the same writer of above. Nice little twist and turns, it was fun trying to guess the lies.

Blind Date (2015)
Next door neighbours who share a common wall that is not sound proof start a budding romantic relationship by talking through their wall without ever meeting face to face. This is just cute, charming and funny.
