In a move that shouldn't shock anyone, Chris becomes the latest member of Michigan's 2015 class to decommit. Chris, who is rated as a 4* prospect according to Rivals, had been very public in the past about how he was "attached" to the coaching staff at Michigan, and had decided that he had seen enough and decommitted late Tuesday. Although generally losing a commitment from such a highly rated prospect isn't considered a positive, there is a silver lining in Chris's decommitment message, stating that he will still be considering the Wolverines going forward. Whoever is the next head football coach at Michigan, will have a chance to sway Chris back into the Maize and Blue.

It had been a very busy day for the talented tight end, as earlier Michigan coaches Doug Nussmeier and Dan Ferrigno visited him at his home in Avon, Connecticut.Coach nuss and coach ferrigno came by man I love those guys hope they stay blue

At this moment, I would consider Michigan's chances at retaining the highly talented tight end at "not very good". Chris has already planned official visits to Texas and South Carolina in the future, and it looks as if USC could also be another school Chris takes an official to. Clark used his first official visit last weekend when he visited North Carolina; a school he decommitted from in April. With how immensely talented Chris is, he will have his choice of which high profile school he would like to attend, and at this moment, I just do not foresee Michigan reeling him back in.Clark, who was Michigan's highest ranked remaining commit becomes the eighth player to decommit during the 2015 recruiting cycle joining; DB Garrett Taylor, DB Shaun Crawford, LB Darrin Kirkland Jr., DL Darian Roseboro, RB Mike Weber, RB Damian Harris, and WR George Campbell.
Chris is currently rated as the #2 Tight End in 2015, and #79 overall per 24/7 Sports.
Michigan's 2015 recruiting class is now down to only six members; QB Alex Malzone, OL Grant Newsome, ATH Brian Cole, K Andrew David, OL Jon Runyan Jr., and DB Tyree Kinnel.
